Bulbline Frutescens

This unusual plant originates from South Africa. Attractive yellow-orange flower spikes appear above dense clumps of long, fleshy leaves. The leaves, if broken, produce a jelly which is said to have healing properties if applied to wounds, skin infections, eczema or burns.
