Common Name: Tatting Fern
Athyrium felix femina has long, narrow, pale green leaves with small, round, ball-like pinnae (divisions of a compound frond, akin to leaflets on a leaf) running along the midrib. Deciduous in habit, dying back to the ground in autumn. Ideal for part to full shade and will grace any woodland garden. Happy in any moist but well drained soil.
